Radio Frequency Skin Treatment

Radio Frequency Skin Treatment

Radio Frequency Skin Treatment is a revolutionary treatment that can be used to lift, tighten and tone the contours of the face and neck. The result is a suppler, younger, brighter looking skin.

The treatment is progressive so although results can be seen after the first treatment, the full benefit of the treatment is seen after several weeks.

Through the benefits of this treatment we can enumerate:

  1. Tighter firmer skin
  2. A lifted appearance and improved facial contours
  3. Increased blood flow
  4. Feeding the skin and muscles with fresh oxygen and nutrients
  5. Improved skin tone, color and texture
  6. Enhanced metabolism

RF therapy uses low energy radiation to heat the deep layer of your skin called the dermis. This heat stimulates the production of collagen to help improve signs of wrinkles and sagging skin. This generates and accelerated collagen production, and contraction of collagen fibers to restructure and tighten the skin, plump out fine lines and improve the texture of the skin. Chromo therapy (cooling down the skin) is added to the treatment to further facilitate the anti ageing effects.

Radio frequency should never be painful! You will feel a warming sensation on the skin, and under the surface of the skin. This should always feel soothing, comfortable and even relaxing. It is a very pleasant treatment to experience.

Some clients see results immediately; some will need to wait 2-4 treatments to see visible results. Effects will include skin texture appearing smoother, contours of the face will appear lifted and fine lines will appear reduced. Because the treatment works at a molecular level, the result is not deemed to be instant; the result of the treatment is progressive, working long after your last treatment and can last for up to two years.

Contraindications for Radio Frequency: pregnancy and breastfeeding, active cancer, acute bacterial and viral inflammations, sensory disturbances, metal implants in the area of the procedure, pacemaker, epilepsy.
