Back Facial

What Is a Back Facial?

The back facial is a complete “your pampering time”, which will work not only on your complete relaxation but also will take care of the most neglected skin from your body – back skin, keep it soft, hydrated, clear, and firm for years to come. This treatment includes cleansing, microdermabrasion (as an option), exfoliating, extractions, a customized mask, a high-frequency treatment, and 2 other pure bliss additions – an infusion of medical-grade oxygen, and blue light therapy.

Who is recommended for and how often?

It is recommended to have back facials, at least four times a year, or before a special event when the back is exposed. Also for who is working out a lot, this can cause more breakouts on their back, so it would be beneficial to get them more often if you are sweating more.

The back facial is beneficial for anyone who struggles with breakouts or clogged pores on the back. It’s also for those who feel their skin is dry and sensitive. So, if you’re planning to hit the beach, wear a backless beautiful dress, or generally want to take better care of the skin on your back, the back facial is your best solution.

What to Expect During a Back Facial

Done in Aesthetic Art by Laura’s Salons, a back facial consists in an ultimate med spa experience of several steps that work together to offer you an efficient and relaxing result.

Cleanse: To start, the facial will begin with a face wash and will use Vitamin C to prep the skin. Will result a super luxuriously lathering, which smells crisp and citrusy.

Microdermabrasion: We will use this as one of the options of a physical exfoliation to remove dead skin cells using the diamond-tipped wand. The pressure is adjustable for each person skin type. It is great for a deep exfoliation, fine lines, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars. It also increases the blood flow near the surface of skin, which helps stimulate the growth of collagen. This, in turn, improves your skin’s elasticity, which makes you look visibly younger.

Extractions: After the skin is fully exfoliated and all the dead skin is gone, the extractions will clean the pores and remove the build-up of keratin. Extractions are important because they help the skin heel and are minimizing the scar risk.

Customized mask: Each facial comes with a customized mask choose regarding your specific skin needs. The ingredients for the mask we choose will address any concerns specific to your unique skin (hydrating, calming, inflammation, etc.).

High-frequency treatment: Following the customized mask is a high frequency treatment. The high frequency treatment works to reduce inflammation and kills bacteria—so, it’s used as a way of calming the skin after extraction. It ensures that the extracted areas will heal completely.”

Medical-grade oxygen infusion: The facial ended with a medical-grade oxygen infusion to reduce inflammation, kill bacteria, and stimulate collagen production. It’s combined with a serum that blends together an antioxidant protection, hyaluronic acid (for hydration), aloe (for soothing), and vitamin C (to help reduce inflammation from free radicals).

Blue Led Light: One of the most beneficial and noninvasive modalities to soothe inflammation is the blue led light. This will treat multiple aspects of acne and various breakouts including inflammation, bacteria, congested pores, and excess sebum.
